ITINERARY
Day 1: Meet and assist on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, and transfer to the hotel in Negombo.
Day 2: NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA (approx. 4 hrs)
City tour in Negombo, located in Western Province of Sri Lanka famous for local handicrafts, batiks and jewellery, boutiques on the beaches and shops in the city. Enroute to Dambulla, visit the Pinnawela Elephant orphanage. The main attraction is clearly to observe the elephants bathing and feeding which is quite an experience.
Lunch at a local restaurant Proceed to Dambulla, the popular cave temple complex in Dambulla dated to the 2nd century BC is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The Ironwood Forest (Namal Uyana) the ancient garden with a wide variety of plants built in the 10th century and Rose Quarts Mountain range which is 500 million years old. Proceed to Sigiriya.
Dinner & Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Day3: Sigiriya- Matale-Kandy (approx. 2 hrs )
After early breakfast proceed to climb the Sigiriya Lions Rock (UNESCO world heritage site) It’s fortress complex of a ruined palace and one of the World Heritage sites declared by UNESCO. The most looked forward feature of the fortress is the frescoes.
After lunch at a local restaurant proceed to Kandy. Evening, visit Temple of the Tooth Relic Kandy (UNESCO world heritage site) - Kandy the popular charming hill capital of Sri Lanka is surrounded by hills, valleys, rivers, lakes and waterfalls and a great place for souvenir shopping. On arrival at Kandy, we proceed for a city tour. The mesmerizing viewpoint is located on the Rajapihilla Mawatha and is ranked 5th out of 105 tourist attractions in Kandy.

Day 4 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Sri Lanka has been known as a land of gems and during the tour, you will have the opportunity for Gem shopping. Then Visit Peradeniya Botanical garden visited approximately 2 million people annually. The garden is notable for its collection of a variety of Orchids. It is home to various species of plants, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.
Lunch at the restaurant inside the garden or at a local restaurant!
Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Indeed, Nuwara Eliya was once was the favoured cool-climate escape for the hard-working and hard-drinking English and Scottish pioneers of Sri Lanka’s tea industry. Go on a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. You will witness the fresh fruit outlets everywhere you go as Nuwara Eliya is one of the famous city for fresh fruits and Vegetables. Evening, Go for a walk by the Gregory Lake. Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. The lake is also the landing location of amphibious aircraft belonging to the Sri Lankan Air Taxi service which provides scenic domestic flights in SriLanka

Day 5 Nuwara Eliya – Colombo (approx. 5 hrs )
After breakfast at the hotel check-out and leave to Colombo. The busiest place in Sri Lanka is Colombo, the commercial capital of the country. On arrival lunch at a local restaurant in Colombo and proceed for a city tour. Colombo is a place for you to have a city tour with its modern and historical blend. There are places like Museum, Dutch Hospital, BMICH, Independence Square, Clock tower, Galle face etc to visit. Colombo offers a lot for the tourists including the National Museum and the Zoological Gardens in Dehiwala which are worth a visit.
Galle Face Green in Colombo, the favourite hangout spot for locals and tourists alike overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean and surrounded by tall beautiful buildings. Viharamaha Devi Park with tall flowering trees which bloom during April is a quiet serene place in the middle of the busy city. Colombo is also a shoppers’ paradise with posh shopping malls and the famous Pettah market.
Enjoy your dinner and proceed to Colombo airport to meet the departure flight.
