Al Safiya is an island located 3 miles off the coast of Doha, the capital city of Qatar. A popular tourist destination among locals and tourists. Journey by boat from Doha takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes.
The Dow will depart from the Pier after safety briefing. You can experience a the traditional Qatari Dhow cruise to Al Safilya island, cruising around the bay of Doha Corniche viewing the Doha Skyscrapers. This is a good photo opportunity from the sea, while soft music is being played in harmony with waves of the sea. You get to enjoy the salty breeze and the warm sun. Anchor the Dhow 50 to 100 M far from the Island as there is no jetty to dock the boat. If you just wish to enjoy the waters, you are most welcome to take a dip and swim. BBQ will also be available on board to complete the ultimate beach day.
